Chest and Pelvic Brace
The brace module is elastic and comfortably padded. This guarantees high wearing comfort and prevents pressure points.
Pneumatics
The pneumatics is the core of the orthosis. The distance between the chest and pelvic brace is adjusted by the size and stroke of the pneumatic elements. This distance is individually determined for each patient during fitting and is the basis for wearing.
Filling System
The pneumatics can be individually inflated to the wearer's needs through the filling system. The correct fill pressure can be read on the hand pump's manometer. It is determined for each patient and is a crucial factor for the orthosis's effectiveness and benefit.
Filling Hose
The filling hose is long enough to allow comfortable filling. It is simply stowed sideways when worn.
Filling Valve
The filling valve prevents the filled air from escaping and maintains the desired pressure in the pneumatics. The required pressure is set at the filling valve. Overfilling is prevented as excess pressure escapes at the valve.
Fabric Body
The fabric parts serve for closure, a comfortable fit, and the wearing comfort of the orthosis. The inner tongue ensures even pressure distribution on the body.
Snap Fasteners
These snap fasteners attach the fabric parts to the orthosis. They are usually not opened. Velcro fasteners are sufficient for putting on and taking off. The snap fasteners facilitate the removal of fabric parts for washing.
Piston Rod
The piston rod is flexibly connected to the chest brace at the upper end through several elements.
Cylinder
The cylinder holds the piston rod and maintains the fill pressure. It forms the core of the pneumatics with the piston rod. The cylinder is flexibly connected to the pelvic brace at the lower end through several elements.
Guiding System
The guide rail ensures the exact fit of the chest brace when wearing. The chest and pelvic brace are flexibly connected at the back. This construction allows forward, backward, and sideways movement.
Connecting Hose
The connecting hose ensures pressure equalization between the right and left cylinder of the pneumatics, guaranteeing even filling.
